- The Minnesota Regional Network (MRNet) is an NSF regional
- network which provides communications between the nation-
- wide NSFnet and researchers at the Minnesota Supercomputer
- Center (MSC), the University of Minnesota (U of M), and
- other educational institutions. MRNet also provides NSFnet
- access to several Minnesota organizations involved in
- research in such high-technology fields as supercomputers,
- computer communications, and medicine. In addition to pro-
- viding Internet access to its members, MRNet provides a
- forum for exploring networking issues and enables electronic
- communications between its members.
