  34.             The Minnesota Regional Network (MRNet) is  an  NSF  regional
  35.             network  which  provides  communications between the nation-
  36.             wide NSFnet and researchers at the  Minnesota  Supercomputer
  37.             Center  (MSC),  the  University  of  Minnesota (U of M), and
  38.             other educational institutions.  MRNet also provides  NSFnet
  39.             access   to  several  Minnesota  organizations  involved  in
  40.             research in such high-technology fields  as  supercomputers,
  41.             computer  communications, and medicine.  In addition to pro-
  42.             viding Internet access to  its  members,  MRNet  provides  a
  43.             forum for exploring networking issues and enables electronic
  44.             communications between its members.

  69.             MRNet is available to institutions in the Minnesota area who
  70.             have  need  to access the Internet or MRNet for educational,
  71.             research or other scholarly pursuits. Use  of  connected  or
  72.             gatewayed  networks requires agreement to the rules and con-
  73.             dition of those networks.
